The 2025–26 school year was a big one for The FruitGuys’ Farm-to-School Program. From August through May, we:
- Fed 336,000 students over 14.3 million servings of fresh, nutritious produce
- Supported 40 local California farms
- Mailed 11,200 nutrition education pieces to 7,000 classrooms
- And much more!
Our Impact on Students & Farmers
Those are just a few of the numbers we’ve crunched since the school year ended. For a full recap that really digs into the data on how our school produce and snack deliveries helped students, farmers, and communities, check out our 2025–26 School Year Impact Report.
“We’re so proud to work with nutrition services teams from almost 100 school districts across California to bring fresh, local options to their students,” said Carol Stewart, director of school program development for The FruitGuys Farm-to-School Program. “It means the world to us to help them try new fruits and veggies at school and support our local farmers at the same time.”

Our Impact on the Community
The FruitGuys Farm-to-School Program is part of The FruitGuys, a nationwide fruit and snack delivery service that reaches offices, universities, homes, and more. As a Certified B Corp, The FruitGuys donates a minimum value of 20% of its annual profits every year. We use those funds to donate food to people in need, fund sustainability grants for small farms, and do other good in the world with our business.
As a branch of The FruitGuys, the Farm-to-School Program is a key part of that giving. And if your district works with us to source fresh produce or snacks, you’re part of it too.
“Our Farm-to-School Program is a perfect expression of The FruitGuys’ mission. By bringing fresh, local produce to students, we’re not just feeding minds and bodies; we’re also extending the reach of our GoodWorks program. Every school district that partners with us helps us further our commitment to supporting small farms and feeding our communities.” Sheila Cassani, head of impact for The FruitGuys, said.
Through these GoodWorks programs, you’ve helped feed recently homeless Californians, fund a school agricultural project, and more. We’re incredibly grateful for your support.
